During her time at Southern University Law Center, she received a CALI Award in Torts II. In addition, Samantha was elected to the Student Bar Association, serving as the Class Representative of her section. Additionally, Samantha had the privilege of being elected as the Treasurer for both the Southern University Law Center Tax Law Society, as well as being elected to serve as the Treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. She was also selected to serve both as the representative of her school’s Juridical Committee and as the student representative of the Non-Academic Code of Conduct Judiciary Committee. Additionally, she was a Teaching Assistant for Contract Law, Legal Writing, Course Assistance, and the Office of Academic Affairs.
Prior to joining Cossich, Sumich, Parsiola, & Taylor, L.L.C., Samantha clerked in the civil litigation department of a large, Baton Rouge firm. She also served as a law clerk for two state court judges including Chief Judge Donald R. Johnson, 19th Judicial District, and Chief Judge Charles G. Fitzgerald, 15th Judicial District.
Samantha is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and a recent member of Junior League of New Orleans. When she is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending church, volunteering, and going to Orange Theory.
